Owner - Katie Cameron
I am firstly a mum, my daughter attended St Marks and is now at The Downs and my son is currently in Year 5.
St Marks didn't have an after school club up until September 2019 when XP Kids opened. I felt that in order to attract working parents to the school we needed to offer after school care, that is where XP Kids was born. It is named after my children Xander & Poppy!
Although I have a great team of staff in place I am often at the club making sure the children & staff are happy.
I do all the bookings and admin behind the scenes so if you have ay questions please just email me on info@xpkids.co.uk
Manager - Mel Jewell
Mel joined the team in November 2020 as a play worker, from a local primary school where she worked as a 1:1 SEN assistant. Mel has a love for all things arts & crafts and the children love her :)
From September 2021 Mel was promoted to Club Manager and is in charge of the day to day running of the club, if you have any questions you are welcome to ask her when you collect your child / children. Mel is also a TA at St Marks so the children see her throughout their school day too.

Session Play workers
Eddie Wylie
Eddie (Mr Wylie) has worked at the club on an ad-hoc basis since we started back in 2019, the children love having a familiar face from their school day at the club. Eddie predominantly supervises any sporting activities throughout the session. Eddie is the acting club manager when Mel is absent.
Harvey Rampton
Harvey joined the team in 2024 having gained 5 years experience in local after school clubs. Harvey's enthusiasm is infectious and the children gravitate towards this. Harvey is usually found in the playground getting stuck in with all the games!
Jack Crookhall
Jack joined the team in 2024, this is Jack's first job in childcare but he has excelled, his kind, calm demeanour means he was an obvious choice for us and the kids see this too. They love playing board games and building things with Jack.
Jade Ewers
Jade joined the team in 2024 and also joined the team of St Marks school as a lunchtime controller. Jade enjoys being outside with the children and will often be found playing make believe with a group of them!
